Attract Enemies
Enter "UNDER_FIRE" as a password to have three enemies attack simultaneously.

Big Ant in Arizona Stage
Destroy the observatory in Arizona and wait until you will hear a big boom. Go check the big crater in the middle of the stage and you will see a big asteroid. Destroy the asteroid and a giant ant will come out and shoot anyone in the stage.

Big Wheels
Enter "GO_MONSTER" as a password.

Change view
To change the view of your vehicle hold down B and press Y.

Donuts of Doom
In the Arizona level, if you destroy the donut shop without destroying the "Super Donut" on top, then you will knock the donut off were it will roll around the level destroying enemies. You can have 2 of them. After all,there are 2 donut shops.

Entering Passwords
To enter passwords, go to the OPTIONS screen, highlight GAME STATUS, and hold L + R and press A twice.

Fast Action
Enter "QUICK_PLAY" as a password to enable a random fast action arcade feature.

Faster Cars
Enter "MORE_SPEED" as a password.

Flood the Louisiana stage
In the Louisiana stage there are to bridges that you can raise by shooting the crank near them. They both have wrenchs above them. If you raise them the water level of the swamp will rise flooding most of the stage. This makes it much easier to collect the items you need to complete you quest.

Free repairing in California
To get repaired back up to full health, do this: Go to the place where there is the ramp that goes up and down, and has a sign over it with two lights. Stay under it. When the lights turn green, you willl start to be repaired. If this doesn't repair you fully, repeat the process.

Heavier Cars
Enter "GO_RAMMING" as a password to increase your car's weight and ramming ability.

High Suspension
Enter "JACK_IT_UP" as a password.

Hover Higher
Enter HI_CEILING as a password

Launch your car in Florida
In the Florida launch site go behind the launch pad to the opening in the middle with lights on it. If the lights are red you will get warped to the usual opening but if you wait until the lights above the opening are green and enter you will be launched up the tower by a thruster attached to your car were you can get a lot of goodies and a parachute will open from your trunk before you hit the ground

No Enemies in Arcade Mode
Enter "HOME_ALONE" as a password.

No Gravity
Enter "NO_GRAVITY" as a password to reduce gravity to the point that your car will almost float when a bump is hit.

No Weapon Delay
Enter "RAPID_FIRE" as a password to remove the delay when shooting weapons.

No wheel attachment icons
Enter "DRIVE_ONLY" as a password to disable wheel attachment icons from spawning.

Play levels from the first V8
Enter "OLD_LEVELS" in as a password.

Refill Energy in Arizona
In Arizona, to refill your energy without having to slowly pick up wrenches all over the stage, go to one of the Ed's Rocketfuel Stations, and drive in between the pump & the building, your energy will automatically be refilled.

Refill Energy in Minnesota
Enter the plant and head up the railed ramp. There are three computers in the center of the room. When a green light appears on top of one, ram your car into it. you should hear a chime, and green lights should appear next to the two generators below. Slowly drive beside them, and the screen should flash and you should get a bit of your car's health restored.

Same Cars in Multi-Player
Enter "MIXED_CARS" as a password to allow more than one person to select the same car in multi-player mode.

Slow-motion Mode
Enter "GO_SLOW_MO" as a password.

Alternate Costumes
When you are selecting a character, HOLD the start button before you select your character with button A.

Arcade Backgrounds
In training, normal or team battle mode you can change the backgrounds to the orginal arcade versions by letting the time runout in the stage select screen.

Clean Pause
When the game is paused you see "Player 1 Pause" on the screen. To make it vanish for screenshots or just fun hold down x + Y.

Get hit by the subway train
To do this you have to select a character that can turn his back to his opponent fast, then select the Subway stage (Sarah's). When it says "Fight", turn around quickly and RUN towards the TRAIN. If done correctly you will be smashed like a bug. Now you have lost almost all your energy, one more hit and you`re dead.

Jeffery's train
Enter traning mode, select Jeffry as your character and choose anyone as your opponent. Hold the start button while selecting the desert stage (this gives you the desert with a city background). Perform Jeffery's Toe Kick-Splash Mountain (Down+K - D,DF,F,Guard+Punch). Shortly after the move is performed, a floating Subway train will fly across the sky. Use the Escape button to move around and find it. You may have to perform the move more than once to get it to work.

Metal Pan Revenge
Choose VS modeand have a player choose either Kage or Jackie. Have Kage or Jackie defeat his opponent with a perfect. Immediately after the announcer says "K.O", have hold Guard, Punch, Escape, and Down on the contoller, for the victory pose. Your character should give a victory sign, and a metal pan should drop on his head, out of nowhere! This will also work with Jacky.

More background codes
When selecting a stage, press and hold:

X and then A (usually night)

X+start and then A (usually noon)

Pai's secret win pose
Using Pai, you must defeat Akira with a perfect on Akira's stage. If done correctly, Pai will blow a kiss and mock one of Akira's victory taunts.

Play Against the Alphabet Character
To play against the alphabet character in normal mode at the character select screen highlight Akira and press start. Then highlight Lau and press start,finally highlight Pai and hold start and press X. All of your opponents will be replaced by the Alpha bet character.

Play as Alphabet Man
To play as Alphabet Man:

1. Select Normal mode.
2. Highlight Akira and press Start.
3. Highlight Lion and press Start.
4. Highlight Pai and press Start.
5. Now pick any character and they will be their Alphabet Man version.

Play as Dural in any mode
On the character select screen, Press; Down, Up, Right, Left, Start. Dural will appear and she may be selected normally.Press A for silver Dural, press Start+A to play as Gold Dural.

Play as Gold Dural
Press Start + Y + A at the character selection screen. This this only works in Training mode.

Play as Silver Dural
Press Start + X + A at the character selection screen.

Remixed Opening Sountrack
To change Opening Soundtrack to where you hear alternate music tracks during the games opening cinemas, you'ld simply press and hold START on both the first and second player at the screen that shows the sega logo. Keep holding both start buttons until you hear the music begin to play.

Shun's Snowman
Best used in VS mode...Pick Shun vs any opponent, and select the desert as your background. Here's the tricky part - defeat the opponent, but make sure Shun's back is facing the black part of the sky (the part opposite the sun). If done correctly, when the camera pans around Shun during his win pose, a snowman should appear on the dark side of the background!

Slow Motion Replay
Press and hold the Dodge button at the "KO" screen to recieve a replay in slow motion.

Strange Changed Backgrounds
When seclecting a stage, hold START and press A.

In Team Battle Mode, when selecting a stage, hold down START button until time runs out. If you have used the above code, you will need to restart (START+A+B+X+Y), before this code will work.

VIRTUA STRIKER 2

Team MVP Yuki Chan
Enter arcade mode and highlight Yugoslavia (don't select them with A) and press start, then go onto USA and press start, go onto Korea and press start, and finally highlight Italy and press start. Team Yuckichan should appear on the top left of the screen.

Unlock New Stadiums
Hold Start and press A at the stadium selection screen.

AJIM Character Playable
First, defeat AJIM in the normal mode. Then reset the internal Dreamcast clock to April 29th, 2000, and then select the Random character selection with Left Turbo+Right Turbo.

F.C. Sega team
To unlock the F.C. Sega team, go into arcade mode and press start on the following teams: France, Chile, South Africa, England, Germany, and Argentina. The F.C. Sega icon will appear above the second column of teams. Select it, and then beat the arcade mode (you can continue as many times as needed). Now F.C. Sega will be permanently available in the non-arcade modes under a new menu called "SP".

MVP Royal Genki
To unlock MVP Royal Genki in the SP menu, highlight Yuki Chan, hold down start, and press A. Use the same method to use MVP in arcade mode.

MVP Yuki Chan
To play as mvp yuki chan team (full of funny looking people) highlight yugoslavia but don't press A press start.

Royal MVP Genki Team
At the Team Selection screen in Arcade Mode, highlight Yugoslavia, USA, Korea, and Italy, pressing Start after each. Then, highlight the new team that appears in the top corner, hold Start and press A + B + X + Y.

Two new stadiums
In the stadium select screen, before you choose any stadium, hold START and press A. If you do it right you will play in a new stadium.
To get the second stadium just change the stadium in the stadium select screen and do the same trick. When you do the trick for some stadiums you will play in the first stadium and some stadiums will let to you play in the second stadium.

VIRTUAL ON: ORATORIO TANGRAM

Fight vs. AJIM / Play as AJIM
To battle AJIM, you must have a time limit set (not on Death Match). Win the first one or two fights by gaining a health advantage and then letting the time expire. When an upward-pointing arrow appears over your next opponent as the round begins, AJIM will descend, destroying your erstwhile challenger and attacking. This will happen usually by the third battle. AJIM is very tough to beat, so pick your best character and hang in there. To control AJIM, you must challenge and defeat him as described (can't win by time-over). After beating AJIM, finish the game by completing all missions and destroying TANGRAM. Now, you have to set the clock in BOTH your DC and your VMU to February 15-30, 2000. Any month after Feb. is also fine, but AJIM is only available when your clock reads the last half of any month later than January, 2000. To select AJIM in any mode, go to the Random Select icon and hold both Turbos. AJIM will appear and can be chosen.

Play as Alpha Raiden
To play as Alpha Raiden, first complete the game as Raiden in Fog Mode without using any continues. Then, save the game and start a new one in the Dreamcast 5.45 mode. Once at the character select screen, highlight Apharmd-B and press Left Turbo, highlight Dordray and hit Left Turbo twice, then Specineff and hit Left Turbo twice, next Fei-Yen Kn and Left Turbo twice, and finally highlight Cypher and hit Left Turbo three times. Then select Raiden.

Play as Alpha Temjin
To play as Alpha Temjin, first complete the game as Temjin in Fog Mode without using any continues. Then, save the game and start a new one in the Dreamcast 5.45 mode. Once at the character select screen, highlight Temjin and press Left Turbo, highlight Random and hit Left Turbo, then Raiden and hit Left Turbo twice, next Bal Bados and Left Turbo twice, highlight Angelon and hit Left Turbo twice, and finally highlight Grys-Vok and hit Left Turbo three times. Then select Temjin.

Unlock "ARCADE [M.S.B.S.VER.5.2]" Mode
Beat "DREAMCAST [M.S.B.S.VER.5.45]" mode with each of the original 11 characters to unlock "ARCADE [M.S.B.S.VER.5.2]" mode.

VISUAL MEMORY UNIT (VMU)

Change the Time Mode Animation Pictures
Immediately following the Font Change screen, you will enter a screen asking you to please select an animation for the little pictures that pop up at the bottom of the Time Mode screen. You can change the animation by pressing Up or Down. The choices are as follows - assuming Down is pressed:

neko: cat's paws animation (default)

herikoputaa: helicopter animation

sakana: fish animation

Select the one you wish to use and press A.

Change the VMS Screen Fonts
Immediately following the Quick Time Change Method, you will enter a screen displaying examples of numbers at the bottom. To change the fonts press Up or Down to cycle through 3 different styles: regular fonts, sharp fonts, or bold fonts. Press A to save your selection.

Quick Time Change Method
To quickly change the VMS time, enter Time Mode then hold Left and press A. You should get a screen asking you if you wish to alter the time. Answer 'hai'(right)for yes or 'iie' (left) for no. If you selected yes, you should enter a menu similar to when the VMS was frist activated. From here you can change the year, month, day, and time. At the end, answer 'hai' (right) if you wish to save the changes or 'iie' (left) if you wish to go back and alter the time some more.
