SEAMAN

 

Hypnotize Your Seaman
Focus on one of your “SEAMEN” and move your joystick in circles around its head, the “SEAMAN” will begin to follow the circling finger icon and become hypnotized and roll over on it’s back after a giggle. If only this worked on your real life siblings.

Kitchen Appliance Awareness Message
Insert the Seaman Dreamcast Disc into any CD player and listen.

Although this is a standard feature with Dreamcast discs, it seems that the development companies are starting to have some fun with it.

Move The Rocks
Move the rocks around the aquarium by grabbing one of them (X + R trigger) and pressing left and right. You can actually move one of the rocks so that it covers the air hole. Eventually when he’s big enough Seaman will help you move the big rock in the back which will drain the water in the tank.

Bonus Bait
Finish all 5 games in "professional Tourment" in the Consumer mode, and you will receive a bonus bait---Sonic!

Bonus Falls Level
Finish the last 2 tournaments in Consumer mode, and it will open up "Falls" in Arcade mode.
 

Bonus Palace Level
Finish the first 2 tournaments in Consumer mode, and it will open up "Palace", the final stage of Arcade mode.
 

Change Lure Color
Simply while picking a lure just press up or down to change the colors.
 

Extra Practice Levels
Beat the game once in arcade mode and it will unlock three new levels in Practice Mode.
 

Fish as Super Chicken
At the start screen press up, up, down and hold in start to play as super chicken, the cyborg chicken. His bait is different from others and he has a super long fishing pole
 

Get Sonic Lure
To get the Sonic Lure (Deep Crank Bait), sucessfully reach the final tournament in normal mode.
 

Infinite time
When the start screen begins to appear if you press: A, B, Y, X, Y, A, B, L, R, Y, X, A, B, A, Y, X, Y. You will hear the man say "FISH". Then you will have infinite time.
 

More Practice Levels
Successfully complete arcade mode once to unlock three new levels in practice mode.
 

New Clothes & Boat
To obtain new clothes and boat color, sucessfully reach the final tournament in normal mode.
 

Select Lure Color
In 'Consumer Mode' press UP or DOWN to change the color of your lure. This definately plays a role in how "attractive" the bait is to the fish.

All Tracks in Japanese Version
At the title screen, press the following on the digital pad: Up, Left, Down, Right, B, A, B, Right, Down. All of the tracks in the 10 years championship will now become available, including the secret track for completing the championship.
 

Alternate Car Colors
Hold down the left shoulder button when selecting the Lancia Stratos, Corolla WRC, Lancer Evolution or Celica GT4 ST185 to access an alternate set of colors for that car.
 

Bonus Section in Riveria
In arcade mode you can access a special section of the track in the Riveria stage. First, select Arcade Mode and choose either practice or championship.

When you reach the Riveria stage, take note of the final 90 degree turn in the track (just before the final straight). There would be 2 red cones. Knock both of them down. After you have knock them down, you will hear two distinct tones, saying that the hidden section of the track have been opened.

Turn the car around, then look carefully on the car's right. An entrance would've been open. Drive right through, and you will enter a special point stage, where you will need to drive your car around and knock cones down to gain points.

Points gathered will not have any effect on the gameplay, therefore it is just a fun little bonus.
 

Change frame rate to 30fps
Press Up, A, Down (x2), Left, Right, B(x2), Up at the title screen. (A tone confirms correct entry.)
 

Change frame rate to 60fps

Even More Camera Tricks
While using one of the other camera cheats during a reply(hitting the A button) you can also hit the L and R trigger buttons to zoom in and out of the car for a change in distance during the replay.

SHADOWMAN

 

Big Head Mode
When you get to "Asylum: Playrooms," go to the cell section where the pool table and playpen are located. On one side of that hallway are five cell doors. Simply enter the middle cell and the "Secret Unlocked" message appears. A new option will appear on the Main Menu entitled "Secrets." Select it and your cheat should be there. This cheat gives Shadow Man a big head.
 

Deadside Shotguns
Go to the Temple of Life in the Wasteland. Make your way to where you get the baton. Go to the alters and keep pressing action at different ones. When you get it right the message “Secret unlocked” will flash on your screen.
 

Disco Mode
Get the gads which allow you to walk on lava. Go to the Cathedral of Pain by means of the trolley. Either take the door on your left or go through the doors at the other end of the room and jump in the large hole. Either way you will get to a large room of lava. If you took the door take a left out and head down the halll of lava till you get to another hall with rotating spikes on a pole which you can get on top of if you run to the end. Run down the top of the pole and you will see a new area with some pigmen. Look around in here to find the cheat to give you Disco Mode.
 

Engine Block Shutdown Codes
In order to shut down the pistons in the Asylum: Engine Block level, you need to use the Engineer's Key along with the proper combination code. The codes can be found in Jack's Journal, which you receive at the very beginning of the Down Street Station: London level where you go after Jack the Ripper. For those of you who don't want to look them up up in Jack's Journal, here are the combination codes for each of the four pistons. The numbers below refer to the liquid level you need to set for each of the three tubes you find at a piston location.

Pea Soup Mode
Go to the Temple of fire. Get to the blood pool. Find the room with the ramp going up the left side of it and then coming to another bigger ramp which leads to a button. Look to the left and you will see a opening in the wall. Jump on the railing a little above straight with the door. Then jump and you should be able to grab on to the edge and pull yourself up. When you get it right the message "Secret unlocked" will flash on your screen. This may take a few tries but it will work.
 

Play as Nettie
Go to Mordant St. NY. Follow the hallways until you get to a lever pull it and the lights will come on. Go to the elevator and go to the third floor. Look for a floor panel that is brown. Jump as far as you can over and jump again. You must do this the first time to get “Secret unlocked” to flash across your screen. Use the bear if you fell through to warp back there and try again.
 

Play as a dog
Go to the Asylum: Gateway Then jump down to the left path by the door. Follow it and you will eventually come to a room with a Govi and some boxes. Climb the boxes and get on the rafters. Jump to the second then third. When you get it right the message “Secret unlocked” will flash on your screen.

SLAVE ZERO

 

AI Firing Mode
During the game on the second controller press and hold the R and L buttons and hit the A to turn on and off the AI firing mode.
 

God Mode
While playing one player, insert the second controller and press L + R + B simultaneously.
 

Infinite Ammo
Insert another controller and press X,R,and L and the same time.
 

Infinite Ammo and Health
You need a controller plugged into the second controller port. In one player mode press L+R+Y and a line of ammo and health will appear in front of you. It will be ballistic ammo, energy ammo, missile ammo, and both large and small health.
 

No Target and Infinite Ammo
Hold L+R+A+B while loading or starting a new game. When it loads up, each stage's enemies and bosses will act like your not there! Also you can run down your ammo and it will still fire past zero!
 


SONIC ADVENTURE

 

A Clone of Knuckles
Play through the game (with all the characters) until you get Super Sonic. In Super Sonics Adventure, go to the crashed island. There you see Knuckles and Eggman (Robotnik). After the clip, press A+B+X+Y+Start. Then choose Knuckles. Go to the same place, and there are two Knuckles! This works with other characters, too, but it's not as funny.
 

Aztec Forest Shortcut
To get to the Frog and the Emerald as Tails in one step do as fallows. After riding the trolly to the Aztec Forest you should be standing up high on a platform overlooking the forest. If you stand on the edge and look down and to the left you will see two trees sticking out of the canopy that are close together. Fly toward the trees and land next to the one that is closest to the ledge you jumped from. You should be standing on top of the canopy. Walk around the first tree until you fall through the canopy and end up right by the emerald and the frog.
 

Beat the first chaos
First go to trial option and pick sonic as your character, go to boss mode and when the mode is picked it will start at chaos 0. Use your light speed attack on him it makes a really cool effect. NOTE--you have to have the light speed dash first.
 

Black Chao
First you have to be the robot. To get a black chao go into the egg catcher and go to the bridge. On the bridge you see three doors. Go in the one with the prison. Open the middle cell by jumping on the peg and take the egg back to the bridge. On the bridge go behind the chair Robotnik sits on, behind it is a door with 6 buttons in front of it, stomp on them in an order that spells E-G-G-M-A-N and the door will open. While still holding the egg, step into the teleporter in the room, then you'll be in the egg catcher chao garden, now just hatch the egg.
 

Change View in Twinkle Park Race
To change the view in Twinkle Park Race, press UP to toggle between inside, outside, and far out view. This also works when playing the first bumper car portion of the level.
 

Chao to English Dictionary
When you are at the gardens little expressions will appear above the chaos head here is a list of what it means.
HEART- its happy with you and you're a good parent.

SWIRL- its angry or upset with you feed it coconuts.

QUESTION MARK- your chao is indecisive, it doesnt know what it wants to do next.

EXCLAMATION- suprised chao, wait to see if it is good or bad.

XX ACROSS THE EYES- very unhappy or angry, feed coconuts.

-- ACROSS EYES- very happy chao

HALFED-CLOSED EYES- tired chao feed it or play with it

WAVING ARMS- your chao wants love. pick it up

FLINGING ARMS- temper tantrum

Clean Pause
To remove the pause menu, press X and Y together at the pause menu. This is good if you want to take screenshots.
 

Drive with Anyone in Twinkle Circuit.
After completing the game with all six characters, you will be able to race in Twinkle Circuit with anyone. Just select the character you want, then go to station square. Once your there, go over to the little patch of grass and weeds by speed highway entrance, and pick up the ticket. (It will be rotating, and easy to spot.) Then go into the Twinkle Park building, and instead of entering Twinkle Park, enter Twinkle Circuit. You will hear a special noise that tells you that the secret is unlocked. Now just repeat the process for all the characters.

Easy Emblems as Knuckles
If you are having trouble getting the 1 minute emlems as Knuckles, here is a trick that will make it much easier. Find the first emerald shard, but don't touch it! Instead, pause the game and restart the level. Now run to it as fast as you can. Since the shards act as save-points, find the next one and repeat. Do this until you have all three.
 

Free Rings
As Tails, go to any place with grass and look for a dark green weed. Wack it with your tail. If you are lucky, a ring or extra life will appear. While playing with Knuckles and have the Silver knuckle gloves, goto a place where you can dig and in most places (especially places with plants) you can uncover up to 20 rings.
 

Golden Chao Baby
There are two open shops in the part of Station Square with the open manhole. The golden chao's egg is in one of them. Unfortunately every time you lift the egg from its pressure sensitive platform, the doors are barred shut. Go to the city hall area where you fought Chaos 0 and look near the walls and grass. An egg-shaped rock is here, and you can put it on the platform in the store. You may now leave freely with the golden chao egg.
 

Little Sonic Chao
If you give a chao about 20 of the pink animals (rabbits, kangaroos, deer) it will start to look like everyone's favorite hedge hog.
 

Metallic Chao Baby
To get the one-of-a-kind metallic chao baby, go to the waterfall near the subway and look to the right of it. You will see a sort of platform. Go to it and push it. A metallic egg will fall down the waterfall and into the pond. When it reaches the land pick t up and bring it to the nearest Chao sanctuary. Throw it and it will hatch.
 

One-and-a-Half Play
When you are playing Sonic's action stages and Tails is on the screen, a second player can control Tails with a second controller. Any rings Tails collects will be added to Sonic's totals. Be careful to not make Tails break open any shields, invincibilities or One Up item boxes as those will not be added to Sonic and will be wasted.

This feature may seem trivial to most people, but you'd be surprised how much fun it can be trying to outrun player one (who's playing Sonic) when you're controlling Tails. ;)
 

PC Wallpaper
If you insert your Sonic Adventure game disc into a PC CDROM drive, you will have access to a directory called "extras". Inside you'll find a number of Sonic Adventure desktop wallpapers you can decorate your PC's desktop with.
 

Secret Chao Puzzle Game
After you start up the Sonic Adventure game, place a controller into the D port on your Dreamcast and have a VMS in the controller. A hidden Chao Puzzle game will appear on the VMS screen. It is a tile based puzzle game where you have to use the Dreamcast's controller to move the pieces of a moving picture around to win. After every five puzzles you solve, a little animation will play on the VMS screen.
 

Sonic Tokens
You can get 5 Sonic Tokens from Chao Race. Just raise a chao then go to the Chao Race chose the first choice and then the place where your chao is. Then chose a crystal and win each one then a 5th one will appear and chose it. If you have trouble finding levels you have beat and want the tokens go to the main options at the chose the second option. You can go to any level you have beaten with out running around for it. This is good if you need to collect more tokens and it tells you which ones you have gotten and where. There are Tokens hidden around the world which shouldn't be to hard to find. I have 114 tokens and missing 6 with Sonic.
 

Sonic's Snowboard Select
Just before entering the snowboarding part of the ice stage, press X to get Sonic's blue snowboard (previously seen in Sonic 3 and Sonic Triple Trouble). Press B to get Sonic's yellow board (only seen in Sonic Adventure.)

Sonic's Special Super Speed Shoes
In the Station Square, head towards where you first faught Chaos (0.) Instead of going in the park, go to the hole in the ground. Fall in, then follow the path. You will find a rainbow colored area, step in.To get out, speed until Sonic says "Ready?" and keep holding down the speed button. press the button with the star on it and let go of the speed button.
 

Upgrade Locations
SONIC:

  1. light speed shoes- go to station square after defeating egg hornet and go to the area previously blocked off by police go down manhole and jump up to the ledge that says "exit" to get the light speed shoes
  2. crystal ring- after getting the light speed shoes go into the hotel and up the stairs and do the spin till he sais "ready?" and then walk on the button that opens the door to the elevator and the one that does the rings (this one may take some practice)
  3. sacred light- after you beat "ice cap" continue down the cave till you come to the end and go down the hill till you get to the end it is on the flat rock

TAILS:

  1. jet anklets- at the twinkle park entrance there is a stream coming in from the ocean follow it into the sewer fly up the hole in the celing enter the room to the left and they will be on the bench
  2. rhythm badge- when you get to the echidna city go to the wall to the left of where you start and search up and down the wall

KNUCKLES:

  1. shovel gloves- go to the hill where you fought the egg hornet go up the stairs to tailses house walk around it untill you see the emblemon the ledge under the ledge there is a cave go in it and to the left there will be a branch the wall will close behind you get the gloves dig by the shiny flying thing and bring the object to the monkey and put it down to get back out
  2. battle gloves- in the aztec forest (present) fly from off the ledge to the right and climb the wall till you get to the other ledge by big's house and on that ledge the gloves await

AMY:

  1. warriors feather- beat eggmans high score in "hedgehog hammer"
  2. long hammer- beat your high score in "hedghog hammer"

E-102:

  1. jet booster- when robotnick tells you to go to the ammunition room in egg hornet
  2. lazer gun- after the egg hornet transforms, go to the sewage room

BIG:

  1. power rod- go to big's house lift up bed hop in
  2. lures- they are all obvious except for the one in the cage room amy was held in
  3. Lures- all of these lures are easily found, axcept for the one in the room where they held amy hostage in the egg carrier.

Character profiles in English (Japanese version)

  1. Unlock all characters.
  2. Remove the Profile window at the Character Profile screen.
  3. Press A + B + X + Y to reset the game.
  4. Press X + Start at the demo.
  5. Return to the Character Profile screen.


 

Copy Save Game File
To copy the save game file for Soul Calibur from the original VMU to another, boot the game with the save you want copied and then enter a battle with any character. When the battle begins pause and then swap the original VMU with the destination VMU and then quit out from the pause menu. Upon quitting a new save will be written to the same VMU slot with the original intact on the original VMU. This may work with many games as SEGA made VMU's hot-swappable.
 

Exhibition Mode
Obtain all pictures in the first collection in the Museum to unlock this mode which allows you to see each characters' kata.
 

Exhibition Songs
This isn't a code, but more of a cool trick that works with the game. You'll have to get a CD or MP3 of the songs mentioned, but if you play them with certain characters, the timing works out so it looks like the characters movements are going with the music. Below is a list of characters, the songs that work with them, and when to start them. Remember to put the exhibition on Loop A.

Taki - "Boom" by Bloodhound Gang, start the second you see her.

Taki - "Yoda" by Weird Al. Probably one of the better ones. Unsure of the starting time, try when you see Taki start. You'll know if you got it right.

Mitsurugi - Antonio Bandaras song at the begining of "Desperado". Start it when he starts to draw his sword.

Mitsurugi - "Asleep at the Wheel" by Bloodhound Gang. Start the song, and push A on Mitsurugi after the track has been playing for 3 seconds (while you're hearing the word "And")

Kilik - "Now You're a man," by DVDA, start it as soon as you see Kilik.

Xianghua - "Walking On The Sun" by Smash Mouth, start when she starts. This one works the best out of them all. Almost every movement times out perfectly.

Astaroth - "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life," by Monty Python. Start when he starts. The chorus should start when he starts running in a circle.

Sophitia - "Alabamba Song," by The Doors. Starting this one is awkward. It begins while her exhibition is loading. Trial and error. You'll know when you have it.
 

Extra Survival Mode
Obtain all pictures in the second collection in the Museum to unlock this mode which allows you to play an alternative type of survival mode.
 

Fight as Inferno
Unlock all hidden characters and successfully complete Arcade mode using Xianguha’s third costume (the third costume is a bonus revealed after purchasing an Art Card in Mission Battle mode).

Hovering (glitch)
This is a glitch, but to hover you must go to practice mode.
1. Select Cervantes
2. Kilik as CPU
3. Use Cervantes catch move (upper cut him and press down and Y---doesn't apply if you change controller settings)
4. Right before Kilik hits the ground, pause the game.
5. Go to instant replay.
6. As Cervantes finishes his move, press start to return to normal fighting sequence.
7. When you return to the fight, Kilik will be in the air flying and you can...CAN.....control him.
 

Metallic characters
Purchase the Art Card that unlocks “Metal Model Mode” in Mission Battle mode. Then hold R while choosing a character at the character selection screen.
 

Move Camera
When viewing the replay after a fight, press the (B) button to switch which character the game camera is focusing on. You can then pan around and zoom in or out on the character that just lost.
 

New title screens
Successfully complete all missions in Mission Battle mode for the gold title screen. Unlock Inferno and purchase all 338 Art Cards for the monochrome title screen.
 

Opening Direction Mode
Obtain all pictures in the third collection in the Museum to unlock this mode which allows you to edit the introduction sequence.
 

Remove window on Character Profile screen
Press A + B at the Character Profile screen.
 

Secret Dojo Mission
On the mission select screen, go to the eastern most map. Move your pointer over the Korea area. When you pass over the secret mission, you will hear the "zip" noise you hear when you pass over any other mission; you will not be able to see it when you land on the location.

There are 5 missions in this location. Each stage has a random combination of conditions from the previous missions.
 

Secret Swamp Mission
On the mission select screen, go to the western most map. Move your pointer over the middle of the upper right area of the screen (somewhere around Poland). When you pass over the secret mission, you will hear the "zip" noise you hear when you pass over any other mission; you will not be able to see it when you land on the location.

There are 2 missions in this location. Each stage has a random combination of conditions from the previous missions.
 

Select weapon
Unlock Edge Master and successfully complete all missions in Mission Battle mode. Then press L at the character selection to select a weapon.

Slow and Fast Replay
To slow down the action during replay simply hold Left trigger. To speed it up, hold right trigger.

Note: if the camera is moving while either trigger is held, it will stay in motion until trigger is released. This is best displayed in practice mode.
 

Transparent characters (Japanese version)
Unlock Edge Master. Then, hold L when selecting a fighter at the character selection screen.
 

Unlock Arcade mode (Japanese version)
Successfully complete the game with every character (including hidden ones).
 

Victory Poses
Each character has three different victory poses. To see each one, after winning a battle, press X, Y, or B during the replay to select one of the three poses.

At the Soul Fighter logo, press Left + Y. Enter the options menu, then exit. If done correctly, the next screen that appears will be the Cheat Code screen. Enter "XAAYBB" at the cheat screen.
 

Credits
At the Soul Fighter logo, press Left + Y. Enter the options menu, then exit. If done correctly, the next screen that appears will be the Cheat Code screen. Enter "AAAAAA" at the cheat screen.

Play Class S in championship mode
In championship mode, if you successfully finish Class A (beat Driver X at least 3 times) Driver X will ask you to race with him. You can use his car if you win the match, and you will pass to Class S. In this class, all enemies are the same as Class A except Driver X.

Get EX-Vega(Shin-Bison)
Beat the game with a World Tour character that you've entered into the game. Then beat arcade mode with a difficulty of 8 and without continue the game. Once you got that, you can use EX-Vega in arcade, vs., and in training mode by highlight Vega and hold on to start and any button to select him.
 

Get the 6th ISM Plus
Raise a character to level 32 in World Tour mode. When you reach the last stage (in Japan), either win or lose; it doesn't matter as long as you get to the ending credits. Save the game and your character should now have an asterisk (*) next to him/her. Go back and beat the arcade mode with that character without continuing to receive the 6th ISM-Plus, "Guts". This raises all of your stats slightly.
 

Play as Shin Gouki
At the character select screen, select Gouki, hold START, and press an action button to choose Shin Gouki. Shin Gouki moves faster, has a double air fireball (4x in V-ism when a combo is active!), and juggles opponents more easily.
 

Play as Super Akuma
At the character select screen, highlight Akuma, hold start, and press A.
 

Tougher World Tour
Score more than 3,000,000 points in WorldTour mode. After the final battles against Juli/Juni and Shin Vega, you'll get to "GOKUENTOU" island where you'll face your toughest battles yet! Good luck!

 

 

 

 

STREET FIGHTER III: W IMPACT (IMPORT)

 

Extra Options for New Generation and Second Impact
In the main option screen, MODE SELECT, hold down L and R, and continue holding L and R for the whole sequence. Press start on OPTION. In option, while still holding L and R, at GAME OPTION press: Left, Left, X, X, Right, Right, Down, Left, Left, Y, Y, Right, Right, Down, Left, Left, X, Y, Right, Right, Down, Left, Left, Y, X, Right, Right.
EXTRA OPTION will appear underneath the sound option.
 

Play as Gill (Street Fighter III and Second Impact)
To unlock Gill beat the game. On the character select screen, go to Sean and press up twice (up once from Gouki).
 

Play as Shin Gouki (Second Impact Only)
To play as Shin Gouki you must: Select arcade mode, Don't lose any rounds and get at least three perfects and no more than 3 "cheese" wins before you reach your last boss. Gouki comes out and kills your particular final boss. You fight Gouki instead and now you must defeat Gouki in the second round while he still has at least one super left. Gouki will then resurrect as Shin Gouki. Beat Shin Gouki (you can lose a round but you can't continue). To choose him go to Gouki on the select screen, hold start and press any button.

Battle Arena Mode
To get the Battle Arena, beat the game on Normal.

Boss Strategy
For The boss after the nun kills herself (the dragon guy)there is a very easy way to kill him in the easy and normal game settings

1. Quickly move in close and use both of your specials (they will cause damage and push him away keeping you out of danger)

2.Next move in and use the jumping combo (jump and while still going up press "A" and then press "B" on your way down) He/she/it? or whatever it is will then faulter leaving itself open to an attack and this attack can be the jumping combo which will stop him from attacking you at least 9 times!
 

No Limit
To get the No Limit mode, beat the game on Hard.

Puck Mini Game
To get Puck's Mini Game, beat the game on Easy.
